Our ideal student has great expectations for his own future, is looking forward for new challenges in the world of programming, software development and problem solving, and is looking for some way to train and challenge himself in the real world.

As a student, you can come to masobit and be tutored by some of our best skilled programmers, and work in any of the many areas Masobit is working on:

• web oriented programming with languages such as php/jsp/perl, for the development of e-business solutions and web management interfaces, with use of LDAP and relational databases based on SQL.
• XSL, XPath, XML programming, and development/planning of SOAP interfaces.
• installation, configuration and customization of systems such as GNU Linux, AIX and HP-UX. Development of monitoring, management and automation systems based on Perl, shell and tcl scripts.
• system programming, in terms of adding/removing and maintaining the code of softwares developed internally by the company, adding and removing functions, or the development or enhancement of Open Source projects sponsored by the company. Main languages used: C, Perl and Java.
• a Security Analisis of the used softwares. Research of general problems regarding the security policies employed by the developed/installed softwares, looking for common programming errors, trying to identify and correct problems such as stack or heap overflow and weaknesses of the employed protocols.

Students will be given the opportunity to work with our consultants in order to acquire the skills needed and will be given access to all company resources (commercial papers, technical documentation, gathered statistics). For more informations contact us at: internship@masobit.net.

Additionally, we are sponsoring research papers and thesis regarding:

• new ways of fighting spam, possibly based on AI and fuzzy logic algorithms
• clustering and load distribution problems, with studies about the possibly encountered limits and how to overcome them
• new ways to simplify the problem of information search and retrieval, indexing and log storage
